AdBlue Solutions & Software Updates – Potters Bar

As a leading independent garage in the Potters Bar area, Oakmere Service Centre is able to provide AdBlue solutions including software adjustments, or fluid top-ups.

AdBlue is a liquid additive made from water and urea designed to transform toxic NOx emissions into Nitrogen and Oxygen via a catalytic converter by injecting it into the exhaust systems of diesel vehicles. Strict emissions legislation means vehicles must comply with the regulations, or become illegal by failing an MOT test. In the near future Euro 7 Legislation will replace the current Euro 6, making emissions compliance even more difficult without a completely efficient exhaust system and AdBlue is likely to be a key ingredient in this process.

If a warning lamp relating to the emissions system appears on your dash, it could be due to a deficiency of AdBlue and we recommend you seek advice without delay. It would also be sensible to periodically get the level checked by a garage such as Oakmere Service Centre as we are AdBlue specialists with the necessary technology in the workshop enabling us to identify faults or adjust software to restore your vehicle’s exhaust emissions to the correct level.

For your peace of mind, and to ensure your vehicle is emissions-compliant, book it in for an AdBlue check at Oakmere Service Centre.

Oakmere Service Centre is an RAC Approved Garage which means that drivers that choose us for repairs or servicing are guaranteed quality work, transparent pricing and excellent customer service.
